Subject: Repeating/symbolic data pjgaenir
I notice now that I'm collecting more practice over time, that I have
types of info that repeat for certain elements in targets. As the
info is not necessarily always literal--I can't always tell from
feedback--I think this must be an example of a symbolic data that is,
thankfully, fairly consistent so far.
I have three past sessions where the targets were political rallies,
someone on stage. Now you'd think I'd get stage or politics or
something. But I get... this sense of an awning. Like the cloth
roofs that extend outside some buildings. Maybe these targets had
something like this, somewhere above, protecting the stage, I can't
tell in any of them. But in all three I had that sense of people,
together, and an over/arching specialized roofing like an awning.
Humor: in the 2nd target, which was Gorbachev twisting at a rock
concert while campaigning for re-election, data up front: "Shake it,
baby!" (LOL.)
In the 3rd target, a japanese socialist stabbed by a student, I had
this sense of 'one thing hanging from another; a hand?'--and had this
flash of like dead/cold/claw concept -- on seeing feedback this voice
in my head (er... not THAT literally...) said, "Symbolic: The cold
hand of death." Ok that part isn't humorous but it's interesting to
me anyway.
I used to really resent symbolism and feel like everything that
wasn't literal data was either just a failure ('bad pj!') or actual
self-sabotage of some kind. I'm coming to realize that symbolism is
my language on some level, and that I *can* understand it; I think
being so clueless about it is part of what made it so frustrating.
Now that, now and then, I'm starting to get a better handle on what
things mean, it's starting to be intriguing, instead. It is sort of
like getting to know a part of yourself you never have before. It's
like learning a new language. It's really slow... it takes a ton of
exposure to it, immersion in it... but at some point, I feel there
are going to be little exponential leaps in my understanding.
I hope some of you have a resolution to do more RV this year, 'cause
in a few weeks we're going to open the TKR Galleries that'll make it
easy to share data and get taskings.
As an unrelated note, former STAR GATE member Bill Ray, despite the
delay, is still a willing victim for the RV Oasis interview, which I
intend to get together in about a week for him, so if you have
questions you forgot to send the last time this came up, or for new
members, send 'em over, via PEM or list either one.

Yes, yes, absolutely yes!! My New Year Resolution is to get some regular RV
practice in! Less talk more do! :-)
I hereby pledge that I will do at least two sessions a week, for a period of
6 months (starting from today, 1st Jan). It will be a sort of extended personal
experiment. I will keep proper records, look for strengths and weaknesses in
myself under varying conditions, try to observe what is going on during the RV
process, and whether constant structured practice can lead to observable
personal improvement. However, whatever the outcome I fully intend to have fun
doing it. :-).
Doesn't sound a lot compared to the practice some do, I know....but it's a
start ;-).
Looking forward to the TKR Galleries to help put all this good intention into
operation!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!
Smiles and waves from
Glyn :-)

Hi Glyn,
I like your resolution and I am going to try that one for myself also. Also, I
am going to work the gateway voyage for the first time too, and see what
happens. BTW for those who are interested, there is a gateway voyage group on
yahoo, and we are about to start working the tapes/cd's starting with wave one
as a group if anyone has the materials and is interested in working this. We
are starting soon. If interested in this and in sharing your journals of your
experiences along the way, join gatewayjournal...oups.com
Happy New Year to All,
Barb

Hi Barb (and all),
Good luck with the Gateway. It sounds very interesting. I haven't got any of
those CDs, maybe one day, but I have got some Silva CDs (courtesy of a friend),
I aim to go through some time. I know nothing about Silva, but I guess I will
find out :-). As they say..so much to do so little time..
A journal! Now that is a good idea. I've been meaning to do something like that
for some time. My paperwork is a bit scattered and disorganised. How about we
RVers who intend to start practicing regularly in 2004 keeping a Journal of our
experiences, and maybe sharing with eachother on this list? Nothing too long
and rambling or that would turn out to be a chore, but sort of like this
maybe.....or not ;-).
.........................................
Monday 5 Jan 2004
Did target XXX-123 at Sidereal time (?) at GMT (?)
Weather warm, barometer high, sunspots low, got that rash again.
Had a couple of sherries first to loosen up.
Usual room, used 'Air Guitar' CD as cool-down, danced around a bit.
Felt fairly confident before session, didn't afterwards, good mood, getting
better, could have strangled noisy kids next door tho.
When I looked at the feedback it turned out to be the Eiffel Tower and my
session seemed to be describing an elephant .
Got up in disgust and went to watch the telly.......immediately saw picture of
elephant. Mmmm
I wonder if.......Yada Yada etc etc Blah Blah (Comments and musings)
....................................
Well maybe not quite like that, but you get my drift :-). If done in a small
'day to a view' diary and cross-referenced to session paperwork it would mean
that we kept reasonable records too.
What do you think guys?
Kind regards,
Glyn
----------------------------
Well, not to dismiss it here if desired, but the TKR Galleries opening sometime
in January actually HAVE, built-in no less, both the option for a little viewer
home page (where you can link to your fave sessions, of yours and others, your
fave web links, info on your interests, extra pages on anything you like) and a
blog/journal, which also allows for each entry a weblink, a link to a session,
etc. There is the option for the latest entry of the blog, and a link to the
whole thing, to be at the bottom of the viewer's own home page, to connect them.
The idea was my hope that an easy way to make a few notes and link to one's
daily session, this might encourage people to view regularly, comment to
encourage others, etc. They do it on diet websites so I thought it might help
for viewing LOL. I also hoped that having decent people share daily efforts
might provide encouragement for others, who otherwise see little more than
politics on lists except on novel occasion.
We could use a few interested people to do a late-beta on some of this software.
If anybody on PJRV is interested in a 'sneak peek' of the Galleries and willing
to try some things out and give me feedback or send me errors if they crop up,
that would be cool.

Hi PJ,
I will definitely wait then.....I didn't realise it was going to be quite as
involved as that, although you did try to explain before on numerous occasions I
think...............but it obviously didn't sink in; duh! :-). Great!

Count me in as a Beta-tester if required.
Cheers for now,

Great! This'll be fun. I tell myself, if nothing else it'll be nifty tools for
folks on this list, and might lead to more 'experiential' discussion! PJ

Hi Glyn,
I have never kept a journal before, nor have I worked the gateway tapes, ( which
are supposed to help with RV? or, so I have heard.) Time will tell.
I have the Silva stuff too, and saving that until I get the other stuff done
first. Still have some unpacking and it's getting down near the end now, so soon
will be near all that stuff. Tee hee hee.
I am excited about the new target site on Ten Thousand Roads and waiting to try
it. :-)
BTW, that was a pretty good journal of your RV experience.
Best regards,
Barb

Subject: Re: Repeating/symbolic data threebears4u
Hi PJ,
I have noticed repeated symbolisms showing up in my targets too. I think these
are kind of neat, because they give me information about the target.
For instance, I get the face of Einstein coming in if the target is intelligent,
and I get the face of Groucho coming in if the target is funny. These symbolisms
always come in at the top of my 'visual screen' and go out after about 5 seconds
the same way.
I get something that looks like a monk without a face for targets concerning a
spirit, or someone who has crossed over, or light, dark, light, again to also
let me know something, someone has passed.
It is interesting to see what the sub gives us for symbols when working a
target. I like getting them myself, because they are easy to understand and give
information about the target that may be otherwise hard to obtain. It also leads
me to a better understanding of the target that I am working.
I still haven't worked that many targets yet, and I hope to make more of an
effort to do so in the new year ahead--like 2 a week.
Best regards,
Barb

Pj,
I can relate to your realization of the value of the symbolics
received during a session.
You said.------ I'm coming to realize that symbolism is
my language on some level, and that I *can* understand it; I think
being so clueless about it is part of what made it so frustrating.
Now that, now and then, I'm starting to get a better handle on what

exposure to it, immersion in it... but at some point, I feel there
are going to be little exponential leaps in my understanding.------
I consider the symbolics that I receive as a form of shorthand that
is meant to communicate more complex concepts. They started out as
simple direct associations and have progressed over time to complex
concepts.
I also have found the symbolics to be consistent to the point of
eventually being able to be able to count on them over time.
Also believe that with proper interpretation and use they are very
helpful in our progression as viewers. That has been my experience
thus far.
Yes, it is a language. I see it as two aspects of my mind developing
a means to communicate using the language that I use every day as a
common meeting point. That is part of my belief system at this
moment to explain this mystery.
The most difficult data for me to get is proper names and numbers.
It is through the symbolics that I have begun to see a bit of
progress in this area.
Happy New Year to all of you folks!
